I/ Kaya Colonics Centre Terms & Conditions
1.Eligibility:
Clients must be at least 18 years of age to book and undergo colonic hydrotherapy. Exceptions may be made for individuals between 16-18 years of age, provided they have written consent from a parent or legal guardian, are accompanied by an adult and if Kaya Colonics Centre at its discretion chooses to provide the therapy.
2. Health Disclosure:
All clients are required to accurately and fully disclose their current health status, medical history, medications, and allergies prior to the session. Failure to do so may result in immediate cancellation of the appointment without refund.
3. Pricing and Payment:
Pricing for colonic hydrotherapy sessions or pre-paid packages will be stated on our website or quoted at the time of booking. Clients must pay a 50% deposit of the cost of one session at the time of booking to secure an appointment. The remaining of 50% must be paid prior to the commencement of the client’s allocated appointment.
Payments are accepted via credit/debit card (Visa/Master cards only), cash, Kaya Colonics pre-paid gift cards. Credit card surcharges and fees may apply.
4. Appointment Bookings,
To ensure the efficient operation of our clinic, it is crucial to adhere to scheduled appointment times. If you are unable to attend or expect to be late, please notify us as soon as possible on 0413834645 (text preferred).
5. Cancellation Policy:
After booking your appointment, please note that the deposit is non-refundable. We will reschedule your appointment at no additional charge provided that you reschedule at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. if you happen to reschedule or cancel your appointment within the 24-hour timeframe, your deposit will be forfeited, and you will have to rebook online if you would like to book another appointment.
In the event of a missed appointment or no-show, you will be charged the full price, and payment will be added when you rebook or a message will be sent to you with payment details. Please keep in mind that if you happen to be late, your treatment may be shortened, but you will still be charged the full price.
Please understand that these policies are enforced to ensure that all our clients receive the best service. Thank you for your cooperation.
6. Client Comfort and Consent:
You provide your consent to undergo colonic hydrotherapy by completing this form.
Clients have the right to terminate the colonic hydrotherapy session at any point if they feel discomfort or distress, or for any other reason. If sessions are terminated after the session has commenced, a full consultation fee will be charged.
7. Privacy and Confidentiality:
Client information, including health details and contact information, will be handled with strict confidentiality and in compliance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
8. Risks
Clients acknowledge that while colonic hydrotherapy is generally considered safe, all procedures carry some level of risk.
Colonic hydrotherapy can spread viral, bacterial, or fungal infections from one client to another through contaminated equipment and surfaces. The procedure can cause other injuries to clients if it is not performed correctly, if an underlying condition is present, or that are inherent in the undertaking of any therapy.
These can include trauma to the colon, such as ulceration or perforation and worsen chronic bowel disease such as diverticulitis, Crohn’s disease or haemorrhoids. The procedure may cause thermal shock or scalding, and there are additional risks with dehydration, overhydration and disruption of intestinal flora and electrolyte balances.
To minimise any such risk, it is recommended that clients undertake prior consultation with their healthcare provider to ensure the procedure will not have any unintended consequences or effects.
9. Liability Waiver:
Clients acknowledge that Kaya Colonics Centre is not responsible for the supervision of the overall health of its clients and does not have access to its clients’ medical history or records outside of the information disclosed as part of this form. Clients acknowledge that Kaya Colonics Centre performs the colonic hydrotherapy procedure in reliance on the information provided in this form, and is not responsible to confirm that the information is correct or that any information has not been sufficiently disclosed.
Kaya Colonics Centre and its practitioners shall not be held liable for any adverse reactions or complications arising from the colonic hydrotherapy procedure, provided that the procedure was conducted in accordance with standard industry practices and the client disclosed all information relevant to the procedure prior to its commencement, except to the extent attributable to Kaya Colonics Centre’ own negligence or fault. Kaya Colonics Centre recommends that clients experiencing any ongoing symptoms or side effects that occur subsequent to the procedure consult their healthcare provider for assistance.
Clients acknowledge that colonic hydrotherapy does not guarantee specific results, and the effects and efficacy may vary from person to person. Kaya Colonics Centre makes no warranties, representations or undertakings regarding the results or outcomes of the procedure and to the extent permitted by law, will not be held liable for any failure to achieve a client’s desired outcome or result.
Kaya Colonics Centre excludes all liability for loss, harm or injury to clients incurred due to a client’s failure to reasonably comply with and follow the verbal directions of Kaya Colonics Centre practitioners or a failure to act in accordance with any rules & safety instructions which may be printed on signage throughout the Kaya Colonics Centre facility, except to the extent attributable to Kaya Colonics Centre’ own negligence or fault.
10. Right to Refuse Service:
Kaya Colonics Centre reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at its discretion.
11. Modifications to Terms:
Kaya Colonics Centre reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
12. Governing Law:
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales.
13. Consent Declaration:
I acknowledge there are health and safety risks involved in undertaking a colonic hydrotherapy procedure. I consent to Kaya Colonics Centre carrying out the colonic hydrotherapy procedure at its facility and acknowledge the therapist is trained and certified to carry out this procedure. I acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions of my treatment.
14. Duty of Notice:
I understand and agree that I will at all times notify Kaya Colonics of any changes to my medical conditions and declare this information prior to appointments. This is particularly important when making future bookings, as it is possible that you may become contra-indicated and cannot have colon hydrotherapy at any time.
II/ Colon hydrotherapy Contraindications
A contraindication is a symptom or condition that makes it advisable to not use a particular treatment or therapy. If you think you might have any of the below contraindications, please call us directly on 0413 838 645 to discuss further in detail.
The following conditions prohibit the use of colon hydrotherapy. If any of these do apply to you, we are not able to treat you with colon hydrotherapy at this present time, unless you have written consent from a GP or specialist stating otherwise.

Cardiac Disease (severe, uncontrolled hypertension or congestive heart failure)

Colon Surgery (less than twelve months post-op requires a doctor’s referral)

Hemorrhoids (in a severely inflamed or severely bleeding stage)
